Wildlife

Javelina
The Tayassu tajacu, or Dicotyles tecaju, is native to the Southwestern deserts of Texas.
 
Axis Deer
Axis axis deer, native to parts of India and Sri Lanka, now are kept by many exotic ranches.
 
Scimitar Horned Oryx
Now extinct in the wild, the Oryx dammah has horns shaped like swords.
 

 

 
Fallow Deer
The fallow deer, Dama dama, is a ruminant animal belonging to the family Cervidae.
 
Wildebeest
Also called a gnu, wildebeest are of the genus Connochaetes native to Africa.

 

Blackbuck Antelope
Now threatened, the Antilope cervicapra is native to the Indian subcontinent.
 
Aoudad Ram
Contrary to nomenclature, the Ammotragus lervia an antelope and not a sheep.
 
Eland
Video of the Common or Giant Eland, these are massive antelopes typically weigning 1100 lbs.
 
Elk
Elk or wapiti are the second largest species of deer in the world.
 
Nilgai Antelope
