I went out to my ranch today as it was,
as Sunday's usually are, S-L-O-W and there wasn't too much to do in
town.
Much to my chagrin, as I was driving
around, minding my own business, I look up and what do I see? A
coyote!!
A coyote!
Who invited him? As you can imagine, a
coyote in a high fenced exotic game ranch is trouble! They eat the
deer!
I sat there and thought about shooting
it...I had my 20 gauge shotgun with me. But what if he had friends?
To make a long story short, I remembered
something from way back when: dogs and cats don't react well to
anti-freeze.
So, to get rid of the coyote, I high
tailed it out of the ranch, went to my local auto parts store and
bought some antifreeze. Then I went to H-E-B (anyone from Texas
knows what that is, but for you out of staters, it's a grocery
store, much like Giant or Safeway) and got a dozen chicken leg
quarters. I put a bunch of the antifreeze into each of the leg
quarters and just left them there on the side of the road.
Take that coyotes!
