Hi everyone, sorry it's been a long time (a really long time since my last blog entry, I've just been really busy with my day job and stuff.  I'll try to be better with keeping up with this blog but other stuff has to take priority.

You'll be glad to know that I've added 3 more species of exotics to my ranch in the last few months, Barasingha deer, Addax and Zebra!  I'll post pictures when I get the chance.

Peace.

Hi everyone, sorry it's been awhile since my last post but I do gotta pay the bills, ya know?

I haven't been going out to the ranch very much cuz I've been busy with other stuff, but I have been working on/changing up this website (cuz I can do it from home etc).

I was thinking of adding some video I shot there with You Tube but I don't know how to edit video on my comp.

If anybody reading this knows about web video, ya think you send me a quick note telling me how to do it or at least a good book/website where I could look?

Sunday, 2-17-08

I went out to my ranch today as it was, as Sunday's usually are, S-L-O-W and there wasn't too much to do in town.

Much to my chagrin, as I was driving around, minding my own business, I look up and what do I see?  A coyote!!

A coyote!

Who invited him?  As you can imagine, a coyote in a high fenced exotic game ranch is trouble!  They eat the deer!

I sat there and thought about shooting it...I had my 20 gauge shotgun with me.  But what if he had friends?

To make a long story short, I remembered something from way back when:  dogs and cats don't react well to anti-freeze.

So, to get rid of the coyote, I high tailed it out of the ranch, went to my local auto parts store and bought some antifreeze.  Then I went to H-E-B (anyone from Texas knows what that is, but for you out of staters, it's a grocery store, much like Giant or Safeway) and got a dozen chicken leg quarters.  I put a bunch of the antifreeze into each of the leg quarters and just left them there on the side of the road.

Take that coyotes!
